Misfitting Things is a store as well as an independent design studio that creates colorful Giclée prints and small-batch handmade ceramics from our workshop in Denmark.

Our store is a colorful blend art prints, ceramics, specialty coffee, adorable t-shirts, artsy items, and design knick-knacks.

Meet the founder

Misfitting things was founded in 2022 by Danish designer, digital artist and color enthusiast Julie Sommer, who has a background in the toy industry. The art and objects from Misfitting things embodies a playful spirit and a passion for unique wall decor and curious objects. Julie is both a maker and a curator, driven by the desire to create vibrant and extraordinary designs for vibrant and extraordinary people. She loves scouting for fresh takes on design - which is why everything we have in in the store is something out of the ordinary 🦄
